This newly remodeled gem of a home located on the bayside in South Mission Beach. Only 300 yards to the ocean & 50 yards from the bay, this gorgeous location is quiet and peaceful. The home is beach ready, equipped with a beach wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, boogies boards, cooler and beach towels.

Space

The cottage welcomes you through a cozy outdoor patio with seating, an outdoor fire pit, and a grill inviting you to spend some quality time in the front yard this vacation. But when you do decide to retire, we have CENTRAL AC!

The open concept living room has comfortable seating and a 55″ smart TV. It flows right into an amazing kitchen with a pass through bar with a wine fridge and bar seating. You can cook just about anything as it is well-appointed with an oven, gas range, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator, toaster, and coffee-maker!

There are three wonderfully appointed bedrooms. The “master bedroom” has an en-suite, a king-sized bed, and a 50″ smart TV. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a 43″ smart TV, while the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds to sleep 4 kiddos (or adults) and another 43″ smart TV. There is a full bathroom in the hallway that is shared between these bedrooms. There is another half bathroom off the kitchen for your convenience.

When you get back from the beach you can head down the west side of the home to find a private outdoor heated shower to wash off before you head into the house through a side-door off the kitchen (via a half-bathroom). If you do decide to leave the area, you can feel free to come and go as you please as parking is not an issue with a 2-car garage, which will accommodate a large car or SUV.

You will experience the charm of Mission Beach here! The houses all face each other across a sidewalk (hence the “Court” designation). You may see kids riding bikes to and from the boardwalk and bayside walk while friendly neighbors are outside grilling and chatting. You will also hear the ice-cream truck come by!”

Transit

Rental bikes and scooters are plentiful for rent by the hour/day/week. The Boardwalk and Bayside Walk are wonderful ways to travel throughout the beach and bay. The 2-car garage guarantees that you will always have parking should you venture out into greater San Diego. We’ve also partnered with a local company, PB Golf Cart Rentals, that offers daily rentals in a customized Golf Cart. Whether you need it for the day, the weekend, or the week, they’ve got you covered. With flexible pricing and local pickup & drop-off, you’re minutes away from riding around San Diego in style. Notes

For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month’s rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement.

Despite ABB’s cancellation policy, I will refund 100% (less any ABB fees) for any cancellations made prior to 60 days from your arrival date. Thereafter I will refund the 50% ABB keeps to the extent I am able to re-rent the unit for the days cancelled.

Interaction with guests

We are a self-service destination (check-in details will be sent 3 days prior to arrival). However, we are also a full-service, professional management company (that has been a Superhost for over 4 years running) and we are just a phone call/text/email away and have agents that are almost never more than 10 minutes away should a need arise.

Neighborhood

Mission Beach is an amazing coastal community designed around “courts” with all of the residences facing one another across a sidewalk. That design creates a cozy and homey feel (and also limits the amount of car traffic) making Mission Beach the ideal spot to “live at the beach”.

Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail…all rental options are just minutes away).

Access

You have the complete house to yourselves, including courtside patio. A normal sized two-car garage (anomaly at the beach) make the beach experience perfect as no need to hunt for parking. We also provide boogie boards, beach chairs, beach toys and beach towels for your use when visiting.
