This is a great location. Easy access to the beach and great for walking to restaurants and shops. Easy and convenient access to the city and attractions. Parking is an asset but beware it’s a tight spot for only a small car/SUV. The ocean view is from the bedroom only, but it is a nice view to wake up to. The amenities like beach chairs is a plus.

We arrived at 2 a.m. - I thought I had left my phone on the plane (with the lock #). We called the 24/7 AirBNB # and, thankfully, they got us in. We awoke to a gorgeous day, complete with a view of the ocean! It is so close to the boardwalk, water, restaurants and rentals (bikes, surfboards, etc.). BBB was a perfect size for the 2 of us and is well stocked, including beach items. The bathroom has great counter space, cabinets and water pressure. We shopped at Ralph’s, a short walk north on Mission - had all we needed. BBB has a nice selection of spices and other items from previous renters. Parking for our unit was tough but we were well informed by other renters to get a compact car, sadly unavailable at 1:40 a.m. We moved some trash cans around and that made parking easier but my husband had to crawl over the seat to get to the drivers side against the wall. GO small! Having the parking space is otherwise a true dream because street parking is tough. Overall, we loved our stay!!!

Cant’t beat the location and the host was very responsive and even allowed us a late checkout with late notice. Only thing was lack of extra blankets and a really small room heater we carried from room to room. He did offer to come out and help though which was nice. Overall felt very comfortable and the location is great with a very friendly host.

Beach girl will return! Cute and cozy unit close to the ocean. You can HEAR and SEE the ocean from the cozy and sunny bedroom. It’s almost as good as being front row…for 1/3 the cost. It is closer to the ocean than it appears and it’s cuter in person than the photos. The unit is cozy; good for a couple & one small kiddo. It’s and older unit but it’s clean, safe and quiet (safe & quiet are SUPER important to me). No party pad or loud neighbors. Also they provided extra towels, beach towels, toilet paper & cleaning supplies. It drives me crazy to run out of TP on vacation! Communication was 5 stars. Aaron answers texts faster than a 911 operator. I will definitely come back to this unit when traveling solo. And will book another unit with Aaron when I come back with my family.

The location was perfect for our needs and we loved waking up to the sounds of the ocean. The view was amazing from the bedroom window and it was about 100 steps to the beach. We appreciated the availability of beach items including beach towels. That was a great touch! Response time to questions were excellent. Communication including check-in/out instructions through Airbnb messenger only (no hard copy instructions or information about the property on the premises). A perk is a dedicated parking spot but the spot is small. My husband has a CDL license and we rented a Prius and it took quite a few tries to get backed into the spot as the space to back in is tight. There is no pulling in. We were told a mid-size can fit but with the storage box in the back of the space, the front of the car will stick out. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom but only a ceiling fan in the living room. Without A/C in the living room, the space is hot. We did not know until after the fact that the A/C in the bedroom can be moved to the living room. This is a non-issue if you come back to the space in the evening. In the evening, about 9PM, it had cooled down enough that it is actually cold in the living room. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo in Mission Beach was so nice and close to the beach. We could see, and hear, the waves from the back of the property. The rooms were comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need for beach play--chairs, umbrella, towels, and toys. The galley kitchen had everything we needed, including a really cold refrigerator. The bed in the master bedroom was AMAZING! The AC in the unit is a small portable unit that was hooked up in the master. We found with the windows open and the ceiling fans running we really didn't need it. It was nice to have our own parking spot, but it is a bit tight maneuvering into it. Great location!

This place was amazing. It has everything so you dont have to worry about anything from beach chairs to pots and pans for cooking. Management was cool. We had a issues that was addressed right away no fault to the management staff at all. He was very friendly and apologized and fixed the issue right away. We asked for early check-in because our flight was coming in early and he made sure to let us know when the unit was available to check-in. We would definitely look forward to staying here again in the future

We had a great time and really enjoyed the place. Location is epic — so close to the beach you hear the waves. One big pro is the bed— it was very comfortable. We’ve stayed at other places with old uncomfortable beds, but this one was great. Plenty of food and coffee options close by. The only thing lacking is a washer/dryer, especially for longer stays. There is a laundry place close by. But we’d stay there again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this bungalow. The proximity to the beach is amazing. Plenty of beach towels, chairs and an umbrella to comfortably enjoy some time on the sand. The parking spot was a little challenging to fit with our big car, but we were notified of this prior to us arriving. We would definitely go back.

Loved how close the place was to the beach! Parking in the stall can be a bit hard if traveling with a large car, but street parking wasn't hard to find and we enjoyed the walk. This place was AWESOME, super clean, and had everything we needed -- including beach chairs, umbrella, towels, etc.! We would definitely stay here again if we come back to SD. The location was perfect! It was close enough to walk to a lot of stuff, but also SUPER quiet and the beach truly is a 30 second walk from your apartment. You can literally hear the ocean waves all night. Excellent communication and super fast responses. You can't go wrong!

Great location! Loved being so close to Pacific beach and all the great places to eat. View of the ocean outside the bedroom window was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and was clean and kept up. The windows opened and closed well, but one of the blinds in the bedroom was broken. We enjoyed the beach chairs very much and the outdoor water spigot worked well for after the beach. The parking is tight, but we backed in as suggested and made it work. Our main complaint and the reason for our 4 star rating would be the extremely uncomfortable sofa and armless chair in the living room. They look nice but made our evenings very uncomfortable. We resorted to using the foldable lawn chairs instead. The kitchen chairs are hard iron with flat seats. Also very uncomfortable for sitting any length of time. We would not return to this place unless the furniture was replaced.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment very much. The location is perfect, it is less than a minute to the beach and the neighbourhood was quiet and pleasant during our stay. The apartment looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and everything worked. The bed is comfortable and the apartment is well illuminated. Since we stayed there in January, we were also very glad that it had a good working heater in the living room as well as in the bedroom. What we also appreciated were the beach chairs that were provided, so we could spend many beautiful sunsets sitting on the nearby beach. The communication with the owner went smoothly, all our questions and concerns were answered promptly. We would come again any time. Thank you!

Check in was easy. Awesome location. We loved that the beach was a two minute walk away, if that. And there are many local restaurants and bars within a 5-15 minute walk. The parking spot is indeed small. We drove in a small suv and it was a chore every time to get in the spot. Another thing we felt could’ve been better was space to put clothes or luggage. The space for my wife, my 3 year old and I was sufficient but the bedroom lacked storage and so we did have to lay down all of our stuff on the floor near the bed. Not anything to cry about but just something to consider if you have a lot of stuff. Overall, great experience. We would absolutely come back to this place.

We have removed the closet from the BR since it is very small and we wanted a little more space to spread out but there it a closet with shelves and hangars right outside the door in the living room. The parking spot is actually pretty simple (if you back in to it, which I have added to my instructions) but any assigned parking at the beach is better than none! Great location, right next to the beach with a view to the ocean. We enjoyed the morning walks on the beach and relaxing with beach equipment provided by Aaron. If visiting, I would recommend having breakfast at Woody's which is very close. One catch is the parking space, its too tight for an SUV, so we had to use street parking.

Had a great stay in Mission Beach. The place is extremely well situated and the area stayed quiet throughout our stay. Just as described and was an easy process to check-in and out. Only recommendation would be to get a new couch in the place, was extremely uncomfortable.

listen to the sounds of waves crashing at night. every extra you could want. no need for a car, everything is withing walking distance or a quick Uber. great space, steps to the beach. wifi string eniught for remote work. stayed two weeks and will return again.

We loved the classic beach apartment vibes. The view from the bedroom was amazing. We used the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella every day. The parking space was small but usable. Aaron’s communication was great. We hope to stay there again sometime.

The location of this place was everything! We really enjoyed staying here and there were many walk-able restaurants, bars, shops. The parking spot was great as well, since it's really hard to find parking in that area. Although, it is in a small alley so it's a little difficult to park, but do-able. The place was clean, comfortable, simple, and had everything we needed, including beach chairs! We felt safe in the location and all the neighbors were friendly. One thing to know beforehand is that there is only an air conditioning unit in the bedroom, but if you just keep all the windows open the place cools down pretty quickly! The host communicated well and timely. We will probably be coming back!

Great location just a few steps from the boardwalk and beach. Apartment was just as advertised. Really appreciate the assigned parking spot as this part of Mission Beach has limited parking otherwise. Would stay again.

This is a nice space with a great location. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and really close proximity to the beach and the bay. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I recommend if you’re looking for a spot in Mission Beach. The beach supplies (chairs and umbrellas) were great.

PERFECT location only a few steps from the ocean and the bay. Host is super friendly and quick to connect with. Only thing that was slightly an issue was the A/C. I only pick places in SD with A/C because our son wakes up to noise with the windows open. I would just give a heads up to families with a little one, the A/C unit is portable and has to vent which requires the window to be open. Other than that, the place and stay were wonderful!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the beach bungalow. We loved how beach towels, beach chairs, and blankets were provided. The communication was prompt and exceptional. Most of all, the location is amazing! The beach is right there, and you are in walking distance from A LOT of restaurants, bars, and shops. Highly recommend!

Very nice view from the bedroom window of the ocean. Aaron provided coffee and small/light weight beach chairs/towels which was nice. Short walk down the sidewalk to the beach. 2nd floor so there are stairs to climb... we made use of the grill one night (clean). The unit was clean and nice.
