Charming Private Mission Bay Studio 1

I try to give reviews by responding to what others noticed. The place is really Cute. It seems to be the overall homes basement or lower level that was remodeled to accommodate a three separate rentals. They are all efficiencies with everything located in one room. You absolutely can hear every step from those living upstairs and their dogs. The bathroom rain shower is a little less than desirable but other than that the place is stayable. Great area close to everything.

Michelle, thank you for the heads up about the drain (think you incorrectly referred to the "rain shower" but your private note mentioned the drain (which we took care of after your departure)). I will mention the noise to my family (they reside upstairs) but it is true that this is a home with folks upstairs. Thankfully they are all pretty sedate and have normal schedules so the noise is not typically all that intrusive. Glad we could meet your needs otherwise! Vacation Rentals by Aaron

I spent five days at Aaron’s place and it was exactly what I needed. Perfectly located and very good size for me (two people would also fit perfectly). Very well decorated and had every little detail in it, so I felt like at home from minute one. Aaron was extremely responsive and helpful with a couple of things I needed (he even left a nice bottle of wine for me and plenty of coffee), and I could make use of the washing machine and dryer whenever I needed them. If I come back to San Diego, I will repeat with Aaron. And definitely, I would recommend it to anyone!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights and this place was wonderful. Super clean, very close to everything, and the bed was super comfortable too! Parking is just around the corner, it was super easy. Aaron responds to messages very quickly. I would definitely stay here again, I highly recommend it!

Decided to rent this space for my trip with my 6 years old son. I loved the location since it is 7-10 min from Sea World and 10-15min drive to the San Diego Zoo/ Balboa Park and 30 minutes from the Safari zoo. I loved the privacy and safety I felt. My son loved the studio, it is definitely homey & cozy. The bed is comfortable and huge (not sure if it's a queen or a King). & there was definitely coffee ? for us coffee drinkers first thing.

Booked this spot last minute before a busy holiday weekend- good spot overall. Bed was very comfy, amenities were as listed. There was construction next door, however we were out for most of our stay so it was not a big bother. Location is quiet and convenient, right by the freeway. Place was tidy and had everything you might need. We would have liked to have a grill in the outdoor area as posted, but not a deal breaker.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is a quiet neighborhood across the 5 from Mission Bay. Its ideal for being close to they bay, or being close to the city but in a quieter place, or jumping just north to PB or La Jolla. The keyless entry was great and the place was well furnished with everything we needed. The bed was really great and a king which can be hard to find. The bathroom and shower were spacious. A really great unit for a short or long term stay. The host was awesome too - super responsive!

One of my favorite Airbnbs in a long while. Perfect space for 2 people on a quick weekend trip to SD. The home looked exactly like the pictures. The entire stay was spotless and clean. It was also well stocked with everything you could need and the bed was very comfortable too! It was always pleasure to speaking to the host via text. Although we never met the host, (this was a private, but connected unit) I could tell they prioritized hospitality through fast, friendly, and responsive texts. The location was also great! 10 minutes away from the airport, but also close enough to nearby attractions via car. Lots of free street parking in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. Aaron’s place reminded me that good stays and hospitality still exists on Airbnb. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect for 2 people. Bathroom was bigger than expected and the location was perfect to get to Mission Beach, La Jolla, and downtown. Parking was the only issue as you had to park around the corner and walk up but there was always parking available. Great overall!

Nice stay for a visit in San Diego- everything is within 15 minutes of a drive and the bay is super close by. Nice neighborhood to walk the dog in if you’re traveling with a pet. Good communication with Aaron when there were any questions/problems. It’s small but fine for a shorter stay- there were some times when we could hear upstairs/next door neighbors but nothing at crazy hours of the night. Would stay again!

The bed is incredibly comfortable, it has a memory foam mattress so we slept like babies. The house and neighborhood are super quiet. Some of the instructions for the front gate and the shower could have been spelled out a little better, but if I had a question, the host responded immediately. My husband needed an Ethernet connection for his telemedicine equipment, which was one of the main reasons we chose this particular house. A couple of things were in the confirmation message from the host, such as complimentary beer and wine (there wasn’t any) and free access to YouTube TV (didn’t exist). But all in all this was a nice, cozy place with very accommodating hosts!

Stayed here for the recent New Year weekend. The space was private, including the patio. The only thing that looked different on the listing was the patio, but no biggie. The rental was well put together with modern appliances and furniture. The neighborhood was fairly quiet and the shared building with other tenants was not a disturbance at all. I would definitely book again.

It was SUPER clean, tidy, and just pleasant to wake up and come home to. Big comfy bed. More remote area without being too far from the fun. It was perfect for us with the doggo as well. Aaron is one of the best property managers that I have had the pleasure to rent from Airbnb, my check-in was very last minute but he was very punctual with letting me know to check in details. Everything was provided in the units, especially in the kitchen where he definitely knows the value of quality pieces and the welcoming power of a nice bottle of wine. The back patio was quiet and private and the location was wonderful, I actually grew up in San Diego and I had never even ventured over to that side of Claremont Drive before. He even stopped by to say hello and was very loving to my dog and allowed me to easily extend one more day with him and I wish I could've stayed longer. Hey studio is a gem to find in San Diego

Aaron was an amazing host! He is very responsive and was readily available to answer any questions we had. He is super friendly, incredibly hospitable, and genuine. The location is excellent (close to everything!) and safe. There was plenty of street parking right by the unit. The unit itself was equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! We were there during an unusually hot weekend in February, and Aaron was very accommodating with the AC. Because this is a pet friendly unit, you may find some fur, but Aaron was more than willing to provide other bedding options, in case you are sensitive/allergic to fur. The unit was clean and perfect for a couple. We had a very enjoyable stay! Lastly, I can’t emphasize enough how helpful he was throughout our stay! I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful place within walking distance from the beach. Aaron was very responsive and communicative. The guest suite was private and clean. Comfortable bed with everything you need for a long weekend (Keurig, beach towels, toiletries). Note that parking is only on the street and not on site.

First and foremost excellent communication from Aaron can’t understate how professional and respectful he is. The unit was so clean it looked like we were the first to stay. The location is ideal(driving or ride share were easy) and the parking was a breeze. On the overall I would recommend this unit and Aaron to anyone looking for a great getaway in San Diego.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were very pleased with how accommodating the owner was and how well he communicated with us. We were also very pleased with the toiletries, the iron and ironing board, hair dryer. They had everything we could’ve needed! After there was a plumbing issue at our first booked Airbnb, Aaron immediately notified us and made the switch to a different rental property that ended up being even more our vibe. Overall a great stay for two people and not too far from PB! Thanks, Aaron!

Aaron’s place is a cute, spacious, and modern studio. The two of us and our dog definitely had plenty of space in the unit. The AC unit was very handy, as it was in the 90s while we were visiting. The bed is a very comfortable king, and the shower/bathroom is quite spacious for being in a studio. We used the kitchenette a few times which was equipped with pretty much everything we needed, including a small dishwasher. They even left us a bottle of wine and beer in the fridge, which was an added bonus! The location is great, about 10-20 minutes driving anywhere in San Diego, and right off the freeway. Also convenient to Fiesta Island Dog Park, which our pup absolutely loved. Aaron was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and check in/out was a breeze. Definitely would recommend this spot for your San Diego stay!

Aaron’s place was so lovely and close to all the best spots of San Diego. He was quick to respond when I needed help. His home kept cool during this hot weather we experience, I will definitely be returning to Aaron’s beautiful cottage.

Enjoyed our stay at Aaron’s. It was clean. Enough space for my 2 boys and me. There is pretty much every appliance you can think of here! Mainly made use of the espresso machine. Nice big windows cooled down the house quickly at night. The French doors in the front open to let the breeze through nicely. A quick drive down the street and you’re in mission bay. Nice walk or biking along the bay. And then another quick shift over to fiesta island for a swim in the bay or kayak. Very close to the freeway, which makes it easy to get to La Jolla shores. Planning on making another reservation in the future!

Aaron’s guesthouse is great! It has everything you need and is in a great location close to everything you’d want to do as a family in San Diego. When we came he welcomed and greeted us happily which was nice. Everything was in order and the communication was great. We’d love to stay here again. ?

Aaron's place is very cozy, quaint, and reasonably priced. It's close enough to the bay, perfect for a walk, and 5 -15 minute drive to a few notable beaches. His provides everything you'll need for your stay, including bodywash and shampoo, as well as well coffee and silverwear, and some extras such as wine and popcorn. Aaron is very quick to respond and if you meet him, is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He provides beach gear, including chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards as well. We used the boogie board one day and it snapped due to some pretty intense waves, and Aaron didn't make a thing out of it, which we appreciated. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend Aaron's place to anyone looking to stay in SD for a few days who is reading this. Definitely one of the best airbnb experiences we've had.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! It was a last minute reservation and Aaron accommodated for us perfectly. He even let us check out much later to make things easier for us. I will for sure keep this place in mind for my next trip to San Diego!

This was such a cozy stay, I am especially happy that there was an espresso machine and milk frother. I also loved all of the vintage wall art! Aaron was overall super friendly and responded to my messages right away. I would definitely recommend this place

This host goes above and beyond, super quick to respond the air bnb is very close to a lot of things locally. The living space is perfect and immaculately clean. 10/10 would stay here again and reccomend to any friends

We are a family of 3 (2 adults , 1 child) and had stayed for 3 nights at Aaron's place. It was very safe, private, with lots of amenities. We had become late for checkin, but Aaron welcomed us as if we were on time. Tell you what, he even went beyond my expectations and kept the heater's own in the apartment, which was a really nice gesture and we were warm as soon as we entered the apartment. What really amazed me is that he provided a rollaway twin (which was not there in the listed amenities), just to make our stay more comfortable. Additionally I saw a welcoming bottle of wine on the dining table, which really showed the class of the host (I have lived at multiple Airbnb accommodations, but never have been welcomed this fashion). Now, this is what I would call a great experience!

I, my wife, my little girl, and Toby spent home away from home experience. The place is super clean and Aaron is a great host. He provided us with a pack and play for our daughter. How considerate of him? The place has everything you need. The host, Aaron greeted us ; showed us around the house; and introduced us with his nice family. There is an expresso coffee maker and we are given a wine bottle. The place is only few minutes drive away from main tourist attraction places. The place is clean, quiet, cozy, and beautiful. The parking is abundant in the neighborhood. Aaron is very responsive in addressing our needs and issues. We had a blessed vacation. Thanks Aaron and family. God bless.

Aaron’s communication was second to none. Not only was the check in process as smooth as butter, but he came down to meet us and check in on us as soon as we arrived. The space was perfect for our needs and was an extremely comfortable and cozy place for us to rest at the end of each day. 10/10 - would and will stay here again. Thanks Aaron!

Super convenient that host provides plenty of amenities. I forgot my towel, but there a lot of spare clean towels for use in the bathroom. Also had an esspresso machine to make the mornings easier

The owner is quick to communicate and is understanding. My tour partner ended up staying the duration of the week while I was away. He stated he had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the restaurants nearby. Each room is separate. Imagine walking down the hallway room by room, one at a time. The kitchen is a little makeshift closet in size. Overall, it’s pretty tight quarters but the perspective may be different to another. The back bedroom faces out towards the patio doors, and is cutely decorated.

Great location...pretty central to all beaches, Sea World and downtown. Cute little place with everything you'd need if it was your own place. The neighbor came by to say hi and it was evident this is a close community...made me feel welcomed.

This Airbnb is as advertised. Location and amenities were great. We lived in this area for over 20 years and felt very comfortable driving around and staying in this place that felt like our own home base. It is safe and secure with quick access to beaches, restaurants, shopping and freeways. We would enjoy returning in the future.

Stayed here for about 15 days in between moving out of one place and into another. It was a clean, comfortable, private, and well equipped temporary home. I had a great stay. Easy and clear communication with hosts. Highly recommend.

Safe secure and quiet. The futon in living room was comfortable. There is one private room with a comfortable bed. This place has a patio to relax in. More spacious than I thought. Great location to all of San Diego. Easy to get on and off freeway! Thank you!
