The location was great. Walkable to Old Town for shopping and dining. Even though it's right across the freeway from the airport, it was not as noisy as you would expect. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment matches its description - it has a nice little patio from which you can watch airplanes land and take off. It has the essentials one would need to cook meals, however there are no grocery stores within walking distance; all require use of a car. We enjoyed our time in this Air BNB - it was convenient for me because my office is just down the street. There is some dining nearby, but definitely better food outside of Old Town. Despite arriving when the cleaners were still at the apartment (at 3pm), the floors were still dirty, leaving lots of dust and debris on our socks when we walked around the house. Some surfaces in the bathroom weren't very clean, but we were provided with some laundry pods and were able to re-wash towels. Overall it was a good place to stay at a fair price. The owners were communicative and friendly!

Emily, sorry about the floors, We have addressed this with the cleaners (for reference, they let us know that they did forgo their usual 2nd pass on the floors with a dry swifter since you arrived just as they were finishing). While there are not any groceries in walking distance you can order from Whole Food, Trader Joes and Vons right up the hill and the delivery fee is very minimal. Great location in Old Town SD! Walked to dining and shopping daily. We went for my son's Marine graduation and it was sooo close. Perfect location to get on and off the base. Easy on and off the freeway and close to downtown. It was wonderful having a garage. It made us feel safe and able to explore without worry. We would stay here again.

Our stay was peaceful and it was in reasonable distance from where we wanted to visit. The neighborhood is quiet and the unit is secure and private. Aside from the coffee maker not operational, everything was great. I am sure that had I communicated that small problem it would have been corrected. I recommend Si's place for those wishing to stay in Olde Town.

It was as described. The home was clean,comfortable and overall a great place. The location is accessible to everything. Everywhere we went took lest than 20 min. Balboa park, Downtown , little italy and of course Old Town eateries and shopping is walking distance from Sal’s place. I definitely will be back!

Wonderful and cozy place right next to everything. Well equipped wit everything you need to travel light and everything working properly and in the best conditions, we were a large group traveling for a conference and everyone got jealous! The host was very accommodating and overall had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The amenities in the Airbnb were extremely helpful to have, and everything was kept quite clean. I was especially content with the bathrooms and kitchen, which were taken care of really well. The host is extremely kind and responds really quickly, they accommodated early drop off of bags, which greatly helped ease into our stay. Plus, the neighbourhood has several restaurants with different cuisines within a 10-minute walk distance. My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb to attend a conference, and access to Uber was super convenient. It does get a little warm in the rooms at night, but after cracking open the windows and turning on all the fans (even a standing fan was included) the temperature was good. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this unit, the host was super understanding and the accommodation was well-kept.

This was located in just the right area with restaurants near by. The place was clean and very well set up. The only downside was that the shower water in master restroom only had two settings, either really cold or really hot. Other than that the place was perfect!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our weeklong trip to San Diego. It’s clean, comfortable, and spacious and the host was very easy to communicate with. It is a very nice place with a balcony that would be perfect in the summer. We were also able to do laundry in the sizable washers/dryers which was very convenient. Able to access streaming channels with our accounts. Kitchen fully stocked with a Keurig & K-cups. The location is great, pretty much 15 minutes from all the touristy places. Old Town stores and restaurants are walkable and the neighborhood seemed pretty safe. Lots of people walking their dogs. No big negatives, recommend!

Beautiful place! Centrally located and within reasonable distance to Downtown/Gaslamp District and Hillcrest area! Awesome place! Stayed 2 nights with 4 guests and this was a perfect stay. Loved having laundry available and 2 bathrooms. It was also great being able to park in the garage. The entire unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There are shops and restaurants less than a mile away. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfectly located for quick access to Old Town (walking) or 10 minute drive to Balboa Park ( don't miss the Sunday organ concert), Liberty Station, beach, airport... loved the balcony for outdoor seating and the thoughtful touches of providing shampoo, soap and toilet paper. The place was nice and very clean. Great centralized location and close to the airport. The beds were not comfortable and the bedrooms still felt hot at night even with the A/C running. We also were looking forward to using an Uber promo code that was listed but after going back and forth on it, it wasn’t even valid.

Great spot and really nice place with an underrated view. Had everything for us from beach towels to sand toys/chairs/umbrella so we could enjoy the beach had we not brought anything with us. Very easy check in and nice private location with ability to park car in secure garage.

Great stay! This was one of the best places in SD I have stayed at. Clean, comfortable and all the amenities. The quiet and private set up worked! Walkable to Old Town with lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. The pizza joints nearby are good. Even the lite rail was close and great to access other highlights of the city. Si was a great host. I plan to stay again next year with my family. Thank you

Perfectly placed in a convenient centralized location to fit all of your San Diego destinations. This gem is within walking distance to Old Town San Diego and all of it’s amazing restaurants as well as Sea World too. If a MCRD graduation is what you are attending, this AirBnB is just a stones throw from the Washington St. Back Gate. “A Hidden Secret in avoiding the long lines” A huge bonus is the secured front entrance, off street parking, and garage that gives you plenty of room for multiple vehicles. I would not hesitate in booking this home again as it met and exceeded all of my expectations.

This was a great place for our San Diego vacation! I was travelling with my partner and young son. The location is perfect, right in Old Town so lots of cool scenery and spots to check out - but close to the highway and airport. We felt really safe and could easily walk around to check out the Old Town monuments and village. Getting around the city was pretty easy from here too. Balboa park and mission beach were right next door and Delmar and La Jolla were a short drive. The place was really well set up too. Very clean, amenities all there, and the host was very helpful with instructions and super responsive by text. I would absolutely recommend this spot if you want the best of SD:)

Very comfortable stay. Stocked with clean towels (even beach towels!) comfortable beds and linen, new washer and dryer. Location is central, walking distance to restaurants, nice coffee stand nearby to get breakfast. 5-10 minutes UBER ride to Little Italy, Balboa Park, Zoo, airport, and other sights. Great for families. Recommended.

Everything was amazing! The house was fully equipped with everything, and we definitely appreciated the tide pods and dryer sheets. The location was great and it was relaxing that you could still faintly hear the airplanes flying in and out. The mattresses were firm but I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up after having a great nights sleep and no soreness. Another appreciation was the text I received that we could check in early, it was helpful with as many suitcases we were dragging around. I am definitely bookmarking this place for future stays, and recommending to anyone traveling to San Diego.

Enjoyed the stay with my family for a graduation weekend. Place was very clean - which cannot be said of many Airbnb's. Would recommend and perfectly located to get around central San Diego.

This place is amazing! Very clean and it has all the things you need in the bathroom, room, kitchen. The house is very homey and felt really safe and comfortable staying here. Si is super nice and very accommodating. So easy to communicate with. Instructions are easy to follow! Me and my family didn't have any problems at all. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who's looking for a place in SD!! I love how this place is close to everything (airport, downtown SD, Little Italy, etc). Good location! Definitely coming back to rent this place!!

We loved our stay here! We rented a car and the provided garage parking was such a life saver. Location is very close to all of San Diego’s Tik-Tok worth attractions. There was plenty of room to sleep the 3 of us and Si’s place was so clean!

A great place in a great location to get to so many places in San Diego. Apartment was very comfortable and very clean. Having your own parking space was a huge plus. It’s very close to the freeway but you can’t hear a thing with the doors closed.

We enjoyed staying at Si’s place. It was great for my me, my husband and one year old. We were very thankful for the pack n play and were pleasantly surprised with the extra mattress for the pack n play. Had a small issue with getting in but he answered right away on the messenger and we got in quickly thereafter. Only recommendations would be a baby gate for the stairs and would recommend bringing a loud fan or noise machine to drown out the airplanes at night. Once we got our fan set up we had no issue with sleeping. The neighborhood was very walkable and felt safe. Super nice kitchen and just overall a great Airbnb. Would stay here again

We really enjoyed staying at Dan's place in San Diego. It was a convenient location to Old Town restaurants and downtown San Diego. The whole townhouse was very clean and comfortable. The garage was an added benefit! Would definitely recommended this place.

Dan's 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom is in a great location for exploring San Diego. Communication was clear and prompt, the place was clean and spacious, and having a garage to park our car was convenient. Our family would definitely stay again when in town.

Dan and Si are amazing hosts and are very understanding. The place is in a perfect location for easy access to great restaurants and fun happenings. Would highly recommend booking this stay.

Awesome place to stay :) 5 minutes from Old Town! Bonus because you’re not required to clean the whole house before leaving. 3 of us stayed here comfortably!

We wanted to be close to MCRD, and this cute little place was it! The entrance at Gate 5 is just down the hill, which was so convenient on the early mornings leading up to our new Marine's graduation! The place was very cute and clean, had everything we needed, and was spacious enough for all of us. The view from the balcony is very nice. It is also nice and quiet other than a few train whistles. We enjoyed close proximity to Old Town, the Whaley House, and tons of restaurants. We are very happy with our stay!
