We really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and close to just about everything. The patio and hot tub are so relaxing, and I appreciated having a spot to park. Considering these things plus how clean and cute the house is, I’d say it was a great value, and would definitely book again. The host is also very friendly and responsive :)

This was a cute place for 5 of us on a weekend trip for a wedding! The outdoor area was super cute, and though we didn’t have time to use the hot tub, it was a nice touch! The inside was compact, but we were able to fit 5 of us for the weekend. Aaron was very helpful when trying to find the airbnb at night when we checked in.

Great location! Easy check-in, exactly as described. Would definitely recommend this to others and I would stay here again. We had a group of four of us stay through the weekend. We walked to the beach to watch sunset, and catch dinner every night. The hot tub was a great addition. The place was stocked with everything you’d need, and dedicated parking in the back with loads of street parking.

Loved the outdoor space. Spent a great deal of time out there. Neighborhood also seemed nice and safe. The house description mentioned that the house was walking distance to the beach. That may be technically true, but there’s a significant elevation change that should be noted if you have kids or have difficulty with navigating hills. It would have helped to have the “locals guide” that was mentioned in the ad to let us know what the best walking path to the beach was, where to park if you end up driving, how to get to sunset cliffs (which was specifically mentioned in the Airbnb ad) etc. The only local information we found in the house was a folder on the table with a single takeout menu inside. We were also disappointed that the WiFi was so slow the TVs were unusable.

Very cozy guesthouse, with nice decor. Plenty of nice amenities provided, with full kitchen, bath, and laundry. The beds were ok to sleep in, though the furniture felt a bit creaky. The couch had several peculiar stains on it. The hot tub looked very clean and well-maintained. There was plenty of seating in the outdoor area, which was nicely decorated. The avacado tree provided plenty of shade! The dedicated parking spot was very convenient!

This was a beautiful, cozy place. What stood out was how friendly and responsive the host was. They were willing to make the stay work for us during the timeframe we needed. After we locked ourselves out, the on-call staff were very quick to help out, even late on a Saturday night. The hot tub is extremely high quality and modern. I don't have enough nice things to say about this place. No regrets!

The Avocado Hut was a very cute guest house. It was private and had everything we needed. My only two marks are: there wasn't really comfortable seating inside & secondly the only couch inside had a sizable liquid-like stain on the seating on one side. It was nice there was a desk in the 2nd bedroom, as this was a working vacation for us. The king bed was excellent, while the queen was mediocre. The highlight is definitely the private yard with nice size hot tub. We enjoyed the hot tub very much with all working functions & perfect San Diego hot tub weather.

We stayed here 2 nights over the Easter Holiday, and everything was great. The Advocado Hut is nice and cozy, and is in a quiet neighborhood close to the ocean and the beach. They were very friendly and quick to respond, even on the holiday weekend. The backyard is amazing, private, and perfect for family entertainment. I believe they took their time and thought about all of the amenities you may need while on vacation. We enjoyed our stay, and we will be back next time we are in town. This was by far my best vacation this far. The home was so welcoming and comfortable. I was able to communicate with the host and not feel like a bother. Great spot, exactly as advertised. Lots of supplies (towels, cooking utensils, beach gear etc) Spacious bedrooms, large bath with Washer/Dryer which was nice after a week in a hotel. Close to the beach and other attractions (Old town SD, Zoo, restaurants etc.) Felt very safe and place was very private.

Avocado Hut was very clean, comfy, cozy & convenient. It was a peaceful and private location & convenient access for our daily explorations. It was a perfect Mother/Daughter retreat. Aaron was a great communicator & immediately responded to any questions. Parking was very convenient & we entered through our private garden area. Small but clean & practical kitchen area~ great for breakfast & snacks but we ate out most every day. Would definitely recommend & hope to return again!

Great spot in Point Loma. We were traveling to a family event with my Mom, and this location was perfect. The house was spotless and comfortable. The house was well appointed with all the amenities we could need, plus a fun outside area. We didn't use the beach equipment, but there was a nice assortment. We enjoyed the hot tub, though. We highly recommend Avocado house!

Had a good 8 night stay here. Loved the area. BBQ came in handy. Place was clean and just what we needed. Unfortunately the spa was broken our entire trip and we were not able to use at all. Everyone was bummed out due to that but other than that we enjoyed our trip and stay.

Good management company who were responsive and nice to work with. The company took our call and provided good instructions for check in when we got lost. Jacuzzi and patio set this place apart for us. The jacuzzi was very clean, well maintained and smelled fresh. Great way to end the day. Kitchenette was exactly what we needed to make a quick breakfast and have our morning coffee. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and decently sized. We had a great getaway.

We came in for a work trip, not a vacation and wanted to be in a quiet location to relax after working. This place was perfect for that! The jacuzzi was the perfect way to end a busy day. Good and safe parking, this location is in the nicer part of OB and Sunset cliffs area… possibly called Pt Loma border… very safe! If u love walking great location to Newport Ave or drive closer to a side street towards Newport ave or walk to Sunset cliffs. Point Loma is not far, great location. It has basically everything you need. Has beach accessories if you’re going or just wanna hang in the yard. Would stay again!!

Great price. Location exactly where I wanted it. Aaron was instantly available when I reached out. The little outdoor space really made it. The entire unit is exactly as described and pictured.

Great space for friends to hang out in the garden, very clean and homley feel. Good location with ocean beach a 15-20 min walk away.

Our stay at the Avocado Hut was great. Easy check in process once we found the back entrance. The space was set up really well and the yard was great. Any time I had a question Aaron or someone else on the team responded right away, which was appreciated. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would consider staying again in the future. Thank you!

Such a cute little bungalow! The king bed was super comfortable, I genuinely didn’t want to get up. The yard is adorable and has great furnishings and the living room/kitchen is comfortable and cutely furnished too! AC was nice and the extra fan in the bedroom was nice too! The water pressure in the shower was also surprisingly good! The parking spot was handy and easy and street parking was easy for our extra car. Worked great with our toddler, esp the rounded coffee table. My only caution if you have kids and want to stay here is that the queen bedroom has a glass desk with a bit of a pointy edge and a narrow pass through that I could see colliding with a quick-moving child’s head. We just kept that door closed and had no problem, but seriously that’s the only and tiniest critique I could even find. Great place, easy, easy stay.

What you see is what you get: Convenient suburban location in Point Loma, close but not too close to sights and restaurants. It is comfortable but not luxurious. No dishwasher but the washer and dryer were great. Host was very speedy in responding to any questions or issues. We had a great time in San Diego and this place was part of that.

Great affordability and thoughtful amenities. Having a washer + dryer was clutch, as well as a nicely-stocked kitchen. The patio space was especially great too, providing more room to hang out. The AC was broken during our stay, which was disappointing as it can get kind of stuffy during the day. Other than that, we had a great time in San Diego.

The Avocado Hut is perfect for a small family looking for a relaxing fun San Diego vacation. Many extra items for your use such as beach chairs, towels and beach gear, plenty of games to play and 2 large TVs with Roku. But the best part is the outdoor space- large enough for dining at night and relaxing. Very close to Ocean Beach but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!!

My family had an outstanding time here. The kitchen is very well appointed - while there's not a ton of counter space, it had everything we needed, including pots large enough to boil lots of pasta and eggs, sharp knives, tongs and a grater. It even had plastic containers for leftovers. Inside is cozy but functional - we never felt cramped. We found a Pack & Play for our 1-year-old in the closet, along with extra blankets and pillows and a ton of board games. The outdoor space is, of course, the highlight. It's equipped with a large gas grill. And it's a quick walk down the hill to Ocean Beach! We would love to make another trip to this spot.

Amazing yard area that made for great breakfast and lunch spots! It is cozy and clean with ample towels and comfortable beds and bedding. The beach items they had for use made our beach day more comfortable and easier to enjoy! Great communication for check in and out and how to access everything. Cute decor to go along with the avocado theme! Safe and quiet neighborhood and was prime location for our activities and wedding plans we were in town for!

We loved the avocado hut! It was such a peaceful place to be with comfortable beds. You can see views of the water just running down the hill in less than a few minutes. It is close enough to walk places like restaurants, but also close driving distance to local attractions in San Diego. Aaron was super easy to communicate with too. Highly recommend!

This air bnb was perfect! The host is super responsive and the property was perfect! We were there to work remotely and have fun. The property is close to everything in OB and just a short drive to downtown San Diego. The Wi-Fi worked great for 2 people working remote and video conferencing. 10/10 would stay again.

The place is very cozy, very laid back and clean. I would look to this place as inspiration for my future home. Very clean and very hospitable design. Love the Washer and Dryer; made us feel very well accommodated.

What a great place to stay! Vacations By Aaron was great with communication and suggestions! When we arrived we were shocked to see the rental also had bags/cornhole, a grill and a ton of board games! The beds were extremely comfortable and the backyard was a dream. The neighborhood is quiet and a short 30 minute walk to the heart of Ocean Beach. This is a guesthouse turned into a rental, but the owners did a great job making it very private and we never heard/saw them on our 7 day stay. We would stay here again and rent from Vacations By Aaron again! Thank you for a great experience!
